therapy
Dr. Firmin is trained in a range of evidence-based approaches: cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and interpersonal & emotion-focused psychotherapy.
She integrates these to best fit a client’s personal style and needs, helping individuals conclude therapy with a better knowledge of themselves, a deeper understanding of key patterns in their lives, and a greater sense of agency to pursue life in line with their values. Dr. Firmin also welcomes individuals who wish to integrate their faith into their clinical journey.
